Upon completion, participants will take a 40-question multiple-choice exam, with unlimited attempts to pass. Course Description
The ServSafe® Allergens Online Course and Exam is designed to provide food handlers with the knowledge they need to manage food allergens effectively in foodservice environments. This 1-hour online course includes interactive, engaging content and is available in English and Spanish.
Participants will learn how to recognize common food allergens, how to prevent cross-contact between allergens and foods, and how to handle emergencies such as allergic reactions. The course covers the addition of sesame seeds to the list of allergens recognized by the FDA, ensuring it is up-to-date with the latest food safety standards.
Upon completing the course, participants will take the 40-question multiple-choice exam to measure their understanding of allergen safety. The exam is available with unlimited attempts, so participants can continue until they successfully pass. Once the exam is passed, participants will receive the ServSafe® Allergens Certificate of Achievement, which is valid for three years.
