Our Always Food Safe® Manager Course utilizes industry-proven materials to deliver thorough food safety training, meeting the requirements set by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture under the Food Employee Certification Act. This comprehensive course prepares participants for the Always Food Safe® Food Protection Manager Certification exam, equipping them with essential knowledge in areas such as personal hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, time and temperature control, cleaning and sanitizing, safe food preparation, and HACCP principles.

  • Do you offer public classes?

    No, we do not offer public classes. We exclusively provide classroom-based training to companies and private organizations. However, we offer an online course with a proctored exam to the public through our partnership with Always Food Safe. Learn more here.

  • How do I schedule a class?

    To schedule your class, simply fill out the form on our 'Contact Us' page, start a chat on our website, or give us a call at 484-450-6072.

  • Do you offer services for Plain Persons?

    We work closely with the Mennonite and Amish communities, providing specialized classes that cater to their unique needs and preferences. Our training is designed to be accessible and relevant, ensuring that everyone can benefit from the essential food safety education we offer.

  • What is the cost of the class and are there any minimum requirements?

    Our in-person class for the Always Food Safe Food Protection Manager course is priced based on a tiered system. For classes with 10 to 30 participants, pricing starts at $145 per learner. For smaller classes (5 to 9 learners), the cost is $160 per person.

  • What happens if a learner does not pass the exam?

    If a learner does not pass the exam, they are allowed to retest. The first retest is free. Learners can attempt the exam up to twice within a 30-day period. If the second attempt is unsuccessful, a 60-day waiting period is required before retaking the exam. A maximum of four attempts is permitted within a 12-month period.

  • What is the passing score?

    A passing score for the exam is 70% or higher, which requires answering at least 56 out of 80 scored questions correctly. The exam consists of 80 questions in total.

  • When will we know the exam results?

    The exam results will be available immediately after the learner completes the exam.

  • Will we receive printed certificates?

    Yes, while Always Food Safe does not offer printed certificates, we do. Your company administrator will receive 1 laminated and 2 printed certificates for each learner who passes, sent via USPS First Class mail.
