Who Needs Certification:

Each food establishment that prepares Time/Temperature Control for Safety (TCS) food must employ at least one full-time, on-site manager certified in food safety. The manager must be at least 18 years old.

Certification Expiration:

3 Years

Recertification Requirements:

If a manager's certification has been expired for more than 6 months, they are required to retake the 8-hour course and pass the certification examination.
