Alaska Alcohol Server Education Course

Alaska requires licensees and their agents or employees who sell or serve alcoholic beverages — or check patrons’ identification — to complete a state-approved alcohol server education course. The course must be completed within 30 days of employment or licensing, and the certificate is valid for three years.

Courses typically cover Alaska’s alcohol laws (including identification verification, managing intoxicated patrons, and penalties for unlawful service), as well as risk-reduction practices.

Certivance does not currently offer this Alaska server course. We recommend using the approved training provider offered by Alaska CHARR – TAP® Certification.

For full details and registration, visit the provider website above.
