About the course

This WSLCB-approved Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) course provides the required training for anyone who serves, sells, or supervises alcohol service in Washington. MAST permits are required for employment in on-premises consumption establishments, and permits must be in hand within 60 days of hire.

The training covers Washington laws, responsible alcohol service practices, checking IDs, preventing sales to minors, and identifying intoxication. Upon passing the exam, LIQUOREXAM will mail your Class 12 or Class 13 permit (based on your age) and report your completion directly to the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.

Permit Types:

  • Class 12 Mixologist Permit (21+) — Allows mixing drinks, drawing alcohol, supervising service, conducting tastings
