This OLCC-approved training equips alcohol servers and managers with the knowledge to serve responsibly and comply with Oregon law. Topics include alcohol and the body, ID checks, intoxication signs, third-party liability, and Oregon statutes.
Mandatory for all on-premises employees who mix, serve, or sell alcohol; managers who supervise servers; owners; and off-premises employees filling growlers. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The final exam includes 35 multiple-choice questions. A passing score of 70% is required, with 2 attempts provided. Certificates are valid for 60 months (5 years).
As of March 31, 2025, all OLCC permits must be applied for through the Cannabis and Alcohol Management Program (CAMP). After completing this training, you’ll upload your Certificate of Completion, valid ID, and pay the $28.65 fee to take the 50-question CAMP permit exam.
After submitting your CAMP application and passing the state exam, you’ll receive a Temporary Permit to begin working legally.
