All employees who serve or sell alcohol or tobacco in Louisiana must complete an approved Responsible Vendor course within 45 days of hire. Managers and owners are also required to comply with ATC regulations.
The final exam consists of 25 multiple-choice questions. Two attempts are included, and a passing score of 70% is required. Certificates are valid for 48 months (4 years).
After passing the exam, your completion record is reported to the ATC within 10 days. You can then log in to the ATC portal to print your Bar Card.
